José Carvallo on Jorge Fossati: “He is going to give the Peruvian team that necessary boost”

Jose Carvallo He was chosen as the best goalkeeper of the season in Liga 1 Betsson 2023, after winning the title with Universitario de Deportes. The now player of the University César Vallejo referred to the designation of Jorge Fossati as coach of the red and white team.

They worked together at the cream club during a successful season, but decided to take different paths for the following year.

“Jorge Fossati is a very experienced coach, a great coach and he is going to give that necessary boost to the Peruvian team, I am sure of that,” he said in statements to Liga 1 Max.

On the other hand, he regretted that the results were not given during the process led by Juan Reynoso.

“It’s a shame about Juan (Reynoso) because we all wanted him to do well, but now we all want things to turn out in the best way,” he added.

Carvallo also commented that he feels comfortable in his first days at the Trujillo club led by experienced coach Roberto Mosquera.
