Cristian Benavente, reinforcement of the César Vallejo University, is already throbbing with great anticipation for the match against Alianza Lima, his former team, for the first date of the 2024 Liga 1 Apertura Tournament. The match will be played on Sunday, January 28, at 8:00 pm, at the National Stadium.
The popular ‘Chaval, who played a few minutes in his team’s victory (2-0) against Sporting Defender of Uruguay, in a friendly match played in Montevideo, said that his squad is in good condition to face the local tournament.
“The group feels good and proof of this is that they played a good game yesterday. For me being able to play is very important, I feel happy to be able to return to the field and I am happy“, indicated Benavente upon his arrival in Lima, as reproduced by Ovación.
Asked about the meeting against Alianza Lima, he indicated the following:
““I am happy to be able to see people I know again, it is a club that treated me well, always happy to return to a place where I was happy,” express.
