There is, however, another classic: fans of the two most representative teams in Peru have formed groups of athletes called runners, such as Adidas or Nike, to name two powerful firms in the middle. Cream Runners Association was born on October 2, 2020 with the aim of incorporating U fans to transmit a healthy life, with sports and full of energy and health. And Grone Runners, their classic rival, whose peculiarity is that each Alianza Lima fan runs with their shirt as a synonym of identity with their institution: their festive “invasions” along Arequipa Avenue arouse the interest of other curious people, who want to join in. This intimate association that already has more than 100 runners.
How was Crema Runners born?
They are presented like this: And it already has 780 followers on Twitter. Crema Runners was born with the idea of four friends, who were: Gonzalo Dibós, Christian, Alfonso ‘Pocho’ and Billy La Torre, who ran on their own in their home park and the first race was on the Costa Verde. That’s where it all started on a Saturday and – as they say – running gives them energy and health. Now the community has almost 40 active people, brothers from the U and who get together to play sports and have a good time at the Miraflores Lighthouse every Saturday.
Precisely, this Sunday, February 11, there is a race call at the Pentagonito de San Borja to spend a morning of full sports and surprise prizes for all attendees.
Billy La Torre, member of the Crema Runners Association, spoke on the TuZonaFit YouTube channel about what it means to be in that community. “For us Runners Cream It is a group of brother fans of the ‘U’ who want to promote sports, motivate the fans to join us to live a bit of a healthy life and have an option to spend the day with family and joy.”.

The friend Alianza Lima and his runners
On January 28, a video on the social network X went viral. There were about 80 alliance members trail running up Morro Solar. I am not lying to you if I say that they paralyzed Miraflores, Barranco and Chorrillos. And from some balconies they received them with applause.
This is:

It is about the Grone Runners, a group of Alianza Lima fans formed towards the end of last year whose peculiarity is that each Alianza Lima fan runs with their shirt as a synonym of identity with their institution. At times they have summoned for their activities, for example, a historical idol of the club, Jaime Duarte. Recently, the historic foreign scorer, Hernán Barcos. They are presented like this: “Fans and track and trail runners from the greatest team (Alianza Lima). In this group there is NO profit, we are only united by running and Alliance.”
The starting point according to the official flyer on their social networks will be Washington Park and the arrival will be Cervantes Park, which is equivalent to 10 km.
They also play their classic. A classic for sports and healthy living. May it never be contaminated.
