Dragon Ball: Gianluca Lapadula’s Cagliari’s curious tribute to the late Akira Toriyama

The global repercussions of the death of Akira Toriyamacreator of, among other mangas, Dragon Ball, manifested themselves on social networks, and this time it was the Cagliari of Gianluca Lapadula.

The club that plays in Italy’s Serie A shared its squad list for this Saturday’s clash against Salernitana with a graphic alluding to the world-famous Japanese drawing.

In the image you can see elements such as the flying cloud, the dragon balls and even Shenlong.

Akira Toriyama died at the age of 68 from a subdural hematoma on March 1. The news of his death was shared six days later.

A subdural hematoma is a serious condition in which blood accumulates between the skull and the surface of the brain.
