Lima Allianceowner of the Alejandro Villanueva stadium, located in the neighborhood of Matute in the district of La Victoria, it has a capacity of 33,938 spectators, and a remodeling proposal was disseminated that would expand the sports venue to accommodate up to 60,000 spectators.
The architect Harun Ananias was in charge of the proposal and, through his social networks, shared a series of images of what the new blue and white house would be.
He even considered that “it should be part of a commercial urban regeneration plan for that area of Victoria, with the stadium of alliance as a landmark and structuring building, but linked to a network of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, pedestrian walkways, trees, parking and connections.”
Furthermore, the builder considered this project to be totally viable for execution in the aforementioned Lima district, and would include a roof on each of the stands.
Although the idea of remodeling Matute has been had in previous years, this has not been carried out or partially advanced.
