Kiara Arango gave Peru the fourth medal in the Cali-Valle 2021 Junior Pan American Games on Friday. The judoka had an outstanding participation and got the silver medal, after losing in the final of the -57 kg category. before the American Tasha Cancela.

Hours before, the skater Ángelo Caro returned to shine internationally. The athlete took the silver medal thanks to a score of 24.23, behind the Brazilian Lucas Rabelo (29.12). Colombian Juan Carlos Polania (22.16) completed the podium.

The Peruvian team, that is, is made up of 160 athletes and the competition in the Junior Pan American Games will take place from November 25 to December 5.
