They never stop remembering Lionel Messi. In Rosario they decided to pay an emotional tribute to the Argentine forward. The largest mural will be inaugurated in a building in the Martín neighborhood, located near the National Monument to the Flag, the same one that has been titled “From another galaxy and from my city.”

Lionel Messi won his seventh Ballon d’Or and in Argentina the muralists Marlene Zuriaga and Lisandro Urteaga painted the largest mural in Rosario in honor of the ‘Albiceleste’ captain. The painting will be presented on December 13 by the Municipality, through the Ministry of Culture and Education.

The creators left an important message after completing their mural: “We wanted to represent that boy who said so many times that he wants to be remembered for being a good guy, over and above the idea of being the greatest soccer player in the world.”

The presentation of the artistic expression of more than 69 meters high will be given by the artists who painted it and Carlos Barocelli, together with an artistic workshop for young schoolchildren. The muralists told Telám that “The previous project was called ‘From another galaxy and from my neighborhood’, which we painted in the La Bajada neighborhood, where Lionel was born, and this is called ‘From another galaxy and from my city'”.

It should be noted that it is not Messi’s first mural, months ago a mural was created on a dividing wall of a building in Azara and Buenos Aires. This was built after winning the last Copa América against Brazil.
