In the presentation video, ‘Gio’ Moreno, who played for Atlético Nacional between 2008 and 20210, appears already wearing the green and white shirt and dominating the ball at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium. The number that he wears on the garment is 70, an unusual number, but surely with which he will try to make history.

Giovanni Moreno, in this way, returns to Colombian football after ten long seasons in Chinese football, where he defended Shanghai Shenhua. In 2021, the athlete participated in nineteen games and scored four goals.

In addition to Moreno, so far, Atlético de Nacional has made public the arrivals of Colombian midfielders Jhon Duque, Alexander Mejía, Agustín Cani and Daniel Mantilla.

The challenge for the squad led by Restrepo will not only be in the BetPlay League, but also in the Copa Libertadores. There, the ‘Green Paisa’ will face Phase 2 of the Copa Libertadores, instance in which they will collide with the winner of the series that will star the Peruvian César Vallejo University and the Paraguayan Olimpia.
