An incident that distorts the sports field. Colo Colo and U Católica face each other for the Chilean Super Cup at the Concepción stadium, in what is the first official match of the season in Chile, shortly before the start of the National Championship; however, a confrontation between fans of both teams ended up causing the suspension of the match.

The first half of the game was being played when, from one moment to another, a brawl broke out between several fans on the Ester Roa field. The conflict between Crusaders and Colocolinos increased to the point that the police force had to intervene to control the situation.

Given this, it was decided to suspend the game that was played in Concepción for the Super Cup and the players of both teams chose to return to the locker room.

However, it should be noted that the match resumed after a long time, so Universidad Católica and Colo Colo will soon define the new champion of the 2022 Super Cup.

Those led by Cristián Paulucci are the favorites to win the cup, while their coach has established himself in the position by returning the vertical and intense game that, at the beginning of the previous season in the hands of the Uruguayan Gustavo Poyet, the club had lost.
