Instagram now allows all users to tag products in their posts

Instagram has announced that it has already expanded product brand labeling in the ‘feed‘ for its entire user base, rather than restricting it exclusively to content creator and business accounts.

It was at the end of March when, as reported The Verge, the social network was rolling out this functionality to all its users but only in the United States and it has been now that the company has confirmed it through its blog.

With that, Instagram He has explained how he has extended this feature to all users and how product labels can be added to the ‘posts’, so that all of them can help their friends and family “new products that they may like”.

You must first create a post in the ‘feed‘ and choose the option ‘Tag people’. Then the brand or creator of the product must be searched for and tagged first.

Once the desired account has been chosen, a menu will be displayed at the bottom of the interface, in which the ‘Products’ window will appear. Once chosen, they must be tagged in the same photograph.

To find the products that the brand has previously uploaded to your account Instagram, you can use the search engine, as well as choose the color of the garment in the event that it is available in different colors.
