Manga and anime lovers? This is Freakit, the Tinder for ‘otakus’

Amanda Lorente and Alba Salas were the visionaries who created Freakit, an application very similar to Tinderbut with the difference that this tool links ‘otaku’ people (that is, lovers of Japanese culture, mainly manga and anime).

More than 30,000 people have registered, however it is only available in Spain and for phones Android.

Initially, users must fill out a four-question personality test, after which the tool assigns a character with explanatory text. In addition, they ask to select three interests and then choose six hobbies. Based on the responses, users with similar likes or choices will start appearing on your app, this is why it is similar to Tinder.

To connect you must do ‘UwUs’ and a chat will start with the other user to interact.

Being an exclusive application for people with ‘otaku’ likes, those who are linked to it will be able to find users who have things in common and become company talking about topics they are passionate about.

Although it is only available in Spain, its coverage is expected to expand thanks to its success.
