They develop an AI capable of writing creative rhymes in poems and songs

The artificial intelligence it develops faster and faster, and never ceases to amaze us with the actions they are capable of performing. However, one of the human characteristics that has been most difficult for these machines to recreate is creativity. This would be an impossible quality for an AI to acquire, wouldn’t it?

OpenAI, an organization focused on the research and development of artificial intelligence, has created a new artificial intelligence tool capable of creating curious verses and rhymes about complex facts.

This is a new model of the GPT-3 family of linguistic models, text-davinci-003. This AI can generate songs with rhyme and poetry on a different level than other models. For this reason, its creators put it to the test.

The experts ordered GPT-3 to write a rhyming poem explaining Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity.. The result was the following:

It’s not that hard if you try

General relativity is the name of the game

Where space and time can’t stay the same

Mass affects the curvature of space

What affects the flow of the time race

The movement of an object will be affected

Due to the distortion that is detected

The closer you are to a large mass

The slowest time will seem to pass

Time will speed up for you to see a

Obviously, the poem is translated into Spanish and therefore we cannot identify the rhymes. However, this would not be an impediment to appreciate the apparent “creativity” of the machine.
