The flights in electric planes are closer to being a reality. An example of this is the Dornier 228 aircraft, developed by the aeronautical company ZeroAviaand that will enter testing this 2023.
This aircraft has a hydrogen powertrain with 600 kW of power; In addition, it will have a second “classic” engine as support.

And it is that the company is one of those that has most developed electric or hydrogen aircraft, since both options are vehicles that do not pollute or reduce CO2 emissions to zero, reported the Hybrid and Electric page.
The vehicle will be fully functional in 2024. The airplane test version will seat 19 passengers and have a maximum range of 500 kilometers. This is equivalent to traveling from Lima to Trujillo, whose distance is 489 kilometers.
The commercialization of this aircraft would only be available in 2025. Currently the company has more than 1,500 reserved hydrogen engines that will be installed in aircraft. By 2030, it is expected to increase the capacity to 100 and 200 seats, with a range of 3,200 kilometers. In 2040 it is expected to reach 8,000 kilometers.
