Google is going to delete your photos: so you can keep them safe

In recent days, the company Google released a piece of news that scared more than one person, as they announced that on July 19 they would end the ‘Album Archive’ of the Google Photos application. In social networks, this generated confusion, since many users thought that all the images and videos that are stored in the cloud were going to be lost.

However, it is worth clarifying that people may lose some photos, but only the ones in the ‘Album Archive’, your other images will be safe and will not be lost.

The ‘Album Archive’ was created in 2016 to centralize all the items being sent from different apps like Blogger and Hangoust. The decision to remove it was created because these apps stopped dispensing with ‘Album Archive’, for example: Blogger now stores your blog photos in ‘Blogger Media Storage’, on the other hand, Hangoust is not available since the 2022.
