Google raised the price of its YouTube Premium subscription in the United States

Google has raised the price of its subscription to Youtube Premium in the United States, where users of this service now have to pay two dollars more – it goes from 11.99 to 13.99 dollars if they are subscribed to the individual plan.

YouTube Premium is a paid service that allows users to access benefits that are not available in its free version, such as watching videos without ads, downloading them for offline viewing or playing them in the background.

Currently, YouTube Premium is priced at $11.99 per month – a price that must be paid after a four-month trial – while the family option, which allows you to add up to five members over the age of 13, costs $17.99. dollars monthly.

The company has now introduced a change in the price of the individual subscription to YouTube Premium, which is now two dollars more expensive, that is, it has gone from $11.99 to $13.99 in the United States, as reflected in the YouTube website for this country.

From 9to5Google they have recalled that at the end of last year the family premium plan also increased its price, going from $17.99 to $22.99.

Google usually implements its measures globally and gradually, so an increase in the cost of YouTube Premium in other countries is not ruled out.
