“It is incorrect! It was not at the south pole, nor in the polar region of the south pole of the Moon, nor near the Antarctic polar region,” says scientist Ziyuan.

The mission was to use a rover to land on the moon. According to the study, this occurred 619 kilometers away from the polar region, which would be a significant distance. It is currently known that India is developing the Chang’e-7 mission, with which they hope to reach said lunar region in 2026.
