Manzana plans to launch its Apple Vision Pro mixed reality (MR) viewer officially to the United States market in February 2024, so it has increased production of the device and will train point-of-sale employees for its correct configuration.
The company led by Tim Cook presented its device capable of combining augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) in June, with an interface that uses the design language of iOS and Mac, and that can be controlled with the eyes, hands and voice.

After its presentation, the technology company detailed that the viewer would be available from 2024 and that it would go on sale for a price around $3,499, initially in the United States.
Now, ApplProduction of Vision Pro scopes has begun to increase with the aim of officially launching them on the market in February of next year, according to Bloomberg analyst and journalist Mark Gurman.
Thus, as noted in its ‘Power On’ newsletter, sources related to the company have assured that Vision Pro production has already been underway for several weeks at its facilities in China. Within this framework, Apple intends to produce units that are completely ready by the end of January 2024 and, after that, make them available to users in February.
Following this line, sources close to these plans have also indicated that the company has notified software developers to prepare for this launch. Thus, Apple has requested that they test their applications for the device with the latest news and tools of the operating system the viewer will work with, Vision OS, and then send the software back to the company for feedback.
In this sense, Gurman has clarified that It will be “Apple’s most complex product launch yet”since it is a device that has personalized configurations that must be configured at the point of sale itself.
Device configuration is an important part of selling Vision Pro since, if not equipped correctly, it can cause problems that interrupt the viewer experience. For example, MR content may not be displayed correctly or the device may be too heavy to use for long periods of time.
Therefore, Apple will train at least two employees from each store in January to ensure that the Vision Pro headset is configured properly. This training will include topics such as visor placement, configuring the device’s light seals, and how to implement prescription lenses for visually impaired users. Likewise, these employees will be in charge of managing sales in each store and, in turn, will train the rest of the employees at their point of sale.
However, Gurman has also pointed out that Apple does not plan to organize a new product launch event for the Vision Pro, but rather any new features implemented will be notified from its website. Additionally, initially, the headset will only be available in the United States.
