Colombia: Gustavo Petro leads Fico Gutiérrez by 9 points in the first poll after the legislative elections

The survey of National Consulting Centerthe first after last Sunday’s legislative elections and commissioned by Semana Magazine, shows that Petro nine points ahead of Gutiérrez, of the coalition Team for Colombia.

The list is completed by the candidates of the Oxygen Green party, ÍNgrid Betancourt (3 %); of the National Salvation Movement, Enrique Gomez (1%), and the former governor of Antioquia Luis Perezwhich includes less than 0.5% of the voting intention.

Meanwhile, 5% of those surveyed assured that they would vote blank, while 13% answered that they did not know or did not answer.

The survey is released just a week after Sunday’s legislative elections, in which the presidential candidates of the coalitions of the Historical Pact, Team for Colombia and Hope Center were also elected.

Petro He got almost 4.5 million votes in the internal consultation of his coalition on Sunday and Gutiérrez obtained more than 2.1 million, while Fajardo barely received more than 720,000 supports.

The survey by the National Consulting Center was conducted between March 18 and 19 to 2,143 people from 45 municipalities in different regions of the country and has a margin of error of 2.1%.
