In the last few hours, several videos emerged that account for the moments after the shootings that occurred in recent days in South Beach, Miami, as a result of which the local administration issued a curfew. Meanwhile, other material corresponding to the same day shows how a column of people run at full speed by the coastal area to take shelter after the shots, as a result of which three people were injured.

Following Sunday’s shooting and a similar incident the following morning, Miami Mayor Dan Gelber has imposed a curfew on South Beach, a measure that could be extended in the coming weeks. For its part, He attributed the events to university students who come to the island for Spring Break.
As reported New York Times, The curfew will last from midnight to 6 a.m., although the measure will finish outlining this Tuesday. It will apply to the area of bars and restaurants and will take effect from Thursday in the framework of a “state of emergency”.

Also, the local government confirmed the spring break concert suspension organized by Miami Beach, which was scheduled for Saturday.
Regarding the curfew, which is not the first time it has been applied and generates disgust among the locals, the Miami Police Chief, Richard Clementsrevealed that his department is working with the Florida Department of Transportation to create a traffic blockage near the Fifth Street entrance to South Beach that only allows the residents or visitors with business enter the city after midnight.
