The shocking before and after of Volodymyr Zelensky in 40 days of Russian invasion of Ukraine

the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is currently considered one of the most important leaders in the world. And it is not for less, because his country maintains a war of more than 40 days against Russia, one of the greatest war powers on the planet. His leadership has been reflected in numerous public appearances and broadcast messages, especially on video, throughout this time, such as his surprise appearance on Monday in Bucha, the Ukrainian town where the massacre of hundreds of civilians was recorded. Beyond this heinous crime, there was something that caught the attention of the international media and public opinion in general, the face of the president.

El Universal compared a photo from February 12, before the Russian invasion began on February 24 of this year, with another image of the president from this Monday.

The first photo shows Zelensky rested shaven and with a fresh face and faithful to his 43 years of age. However, after the Russian president Vladimir Putin deployed his troops in Ukraine, today the Ukrainian president is seen tired and with a very sad expression, unshaven, with bags under his eyes and wearing the same attire for days.

His last public appearance was this Monday, when he went to the city of Buchawhere hundreds of Ukrainian civilians were found dead in the streets, some with their hands tied, a situation that generated strong repudiation throughout the world.

In just three days, the attacks and bombardments left an apocalyptic scene, with huge holes in residential buildings and smashed cars in various parts of the city, AFP reporters said.

All the dead wore civilian clothes: coats, jackets or sweaters, jeans or jogging pants and sneakers or boots.

Two lay near bicycles and another near an abandoned car. Some were face down and others on their backs.

The faces of the deceased had a waxy appearance, which could indicate that they had been in the place for several days. At the scene, the Ukrainian authorities were able to recover at least 410 civilian bodies.

What does Zelesnky say?

the ukrainian president described the massacre of civilians in Bucha as “genocide”just outside of kyiv.

“The elimination of an entire nation and its people. We are citizens of Ukraine. We have more than a hundred nationalities. This is about the destruction and extermination of all these nationalities,” he stated.

Ukraine does not want “to be subjugated by the politics of Russian Federation“, argument. “This is the reason that we are being destroyed and exterminated”, she has riveted. “This is happening in the Europe of the 21st century. It is the torture of an entire nation,” he added.

“We will see that those responsible are punished. Every day we find cases like this, this is genocide”, he continued.
