Both were walking through an intersection of the main avenue in the center of Merlo, when he saw that the assailants stopped the vehicle to ask for his belongings. The former policeman’s cell phone also fell to the ground, but he did manage to recover it.

The man was able to recognize that the criminals were traveling on a burgundy Yamaha Fazer motorcycle with black plastics. “It was a manhunt, they took the motorcycle for a ride, they followed us down the sidewalk,” detailed the ex-policeman.

“My first reaction was to say ‘don’t give him anything.’ Perhaps if they had been armed they would shoot at us. But that was my reaction, I don’t know if it was the best or the worst, it was the one that came to me at the time.” the woman said.
