Asked by the press, Kirby said that the United States is closely monitoring those arms deliveries to see if they end up in Russian hands.

The spokesman refused to offer details on the number of projectiles that North Korea is allegedly providing Russia and he limited himself to saying that it is an amount “significant”.

Kirby claimed that those deliveries of North Korea are “bad news”, but “they will not change the course of the war” because the Ukrainians still have the “ability and capabilities” to defend against Russia.

Ukraine it has received a large quantity of weaponry from the West since the start of the Russian invasion in February.

In October, the United States, the European Union (EU) and NATO formally accused Iran of supplying Russia with drones for the war in Ukraine, something that Tehran and Moscow deny.

In addition, the US assured the same month that Iranian soldiers had moved to the peninsula of crimea to teach Russian military how to use those drones.
