The body of the woman who was found in a place on the edge of the Mexico City and Morelos is that of Mónica Citlali Díaz Reséndiz, the 30-year-old English teacher who disappeared on November 3 in the municipality of Ecatepec, confirmed this Wednesday the Attorney General of the State of Mexico.
Sources from the Prosecutor’s Office indicated that relatives of the teacher they recognized her. The body was found on Wednesday morning on the side of the highway Mexico-Cuernavaca. She had the characteristics of the young woman who disappeared last Thursday.

The clothing he wore is the same with which he left Monica Citlali Diaz from his house located in the municipality of San Salvador Atenco. In addition, the scars that her body had on her left forearm and one leg correspond to her.
Personnel from the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office will perform the autopsy to find out the causes of death and determine how long he had been dead.
The authorities started an investigation folder for the facts: disappearance and homicide, although the investigations will be carried out with a gender perspective.
