Chavista leader Diosdado Cabello accuses the United States of promoting the dismissal of Pedro Castillo

The pro-government deputy and number two of Chavismo, God given hairdescribed this Wednesday as a “coup d’état” the dismissal of Pedro Castillo as president of Peru for trying to close the Congress of that country and assured that it was an act “promoted by the United States.”

“Today they just gave a coup d’état to the president of the Peru promoted by USA. They had the statement ready and everything, and the vice president on duty was waiting,” the pro-government leader asserted in his weekly program broadcast by the state channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

Cabello dismissed Castillo’s removal by the Congressan institution that -he assured- “has more than 86% rejection”, and said that it was “a staged show”.

“The world is not going to say anything and they are going to remain silent and that another coup promoted by the United States is consumed. It is the legal offensive against the advance of the left in Latin America, it is the legal offensive, it is the offensive of the legal war using tricks and lies”, apostilled

Pedro Castillo dictated this Wednesday to temporarily dissolve Congress and establish a national emergency governmenthours before Parliament debated a vacancy motion (removal) against him that could have removed him from the head of state.

After the measure, labeled mostly as coup and not supported even by your government, he was dismissed by Congress, and arrested by the Police by order of the Public Ministry.

Subsequently, the lawyer and politician of leftist tradition Dina Boluarte became the first president of Peru, when she was sworn in before the plenary session of Congress.
