In his message, Guaidó asked opponents to strengthen unity and defend “institutionality above names and personal interests”.
“You have the votes to destroy the figure of the interim presidency (…) But you also have the votes to maintain and appoint the people who make it up. Do what your conscience dictates, but do not destroy the institutions that our struggle requires”, he stressed.
