Classified documents from Biden’s vice presidency found in Washington research center

Classified documents from the time when Joe Biden he was a vice president in the Barack Obama administration were found at a research center in Washington, which Biden used as an office, the White House said Monday.

they were in a “closed cabinet” when they found them, he added.

“The White House is cooperating with the National Archives and the Department of Justice,” iSauber said in a statement, describing the find as “a small number of documents with classified marks”.

“The documents were not the subject of any prior requests or requirements” and since they were found, Biden’s lawyers have cooperated to “ensure that the Obama-Biden administration records are in the possession of the Archive,” added.

CBS News reported that Attorney General Merrick Garland was assigned to review the documents, and that the FBI was also investigating.

According to the report, it was about 10 documents. An anonymous source close to the files told CBS that none of them contained nuclear secrets.

The FBI carried out a spectacular raid on Donald Trump’s residence in Florida in August, in which it recovered thousands of documents, including some classified as secret, that the former president refused to turn over to the National Archives.

According to press reports, these confidential documents contained sensitive information about China and Iran, as well as nuclear secrets.

When will the FBI search the numerous residences of Joe Biden and even the White House?”, Donald Trump complained in a statement on Monday.

“These documents were certainly not declassified,” insisted the former Republican leader.
