Colombia: Man Murdered Woman in a Shootout in a Bogotá Shopping Center

A man murdered a woman and then attempted to take his own life this Sunday, May 14, in a shooting that occurred in the Unicentro shopping center, in the north of Bogotá, Colombialocal authorities reported.

The mayoress of the Colombian capital, Claudia López, said on Twitter that “A man entered Unicentro, argued with his partner, a young woman who worked in a store, shot her”. “The Police have the place under control and are advancing the investigation. We regret the deplorable event and we ask the public to evacuate the place,” said López.

The official explained that “the man had already searched and discussed with the woman before”.
