The former chancellor’s team Marcelo Ebrardpresidential candidate of the ruler National Regeneration Movement (brunette) of Mexicowhich this Wednesday announces its candidate for the 2024 electiondenounced that there is “more incidents than expected” in the internal procedure.
Advisers to the candidate, Senator malu micherdeputy Daniel Sibaja and Ximena Escobedosaid in an impromptu press conference that the majority of citizens are not informed of what is happening other than through one source, the president Andres Manuel Lopez Obradorwho this morning said that “everything went well”.

“We are surprised because we thought there were going to be certain (incidents), but we were surprised how many there are. We will be waiting for (the process) to end, we are not saying it because we are going to win or lose, we are doing it because we are Democrats and because López Obrador and Ebrard have said that the people decide. We say it before the count begins because we are democratsSibaja stated.
Likewise, although they did not detail the number of incidents or were precise with the types, they explained that in the day to count the results, of more than 18 hours, they have seen incidents such as ballot boxes that arrived incomplete, ballot boxes without minutes, or lack of coincidence between sections and ballot boxes, among others.
“There have been situations and incidents that in our opinion could not continue to happen. Brunettethe party founded by López Obrador, will announce its presidential candidate this Wednesday afternoon after conducting an in-person survey of 12,500 citizens about the six ruling party candidates, including the former head of government of Mexico City Claudia Sheinbaum and Ebrard.

The list is completed by the former Secretary of the Interior Adam Augusto Lopezthe former leader of the Morena senators Ricardo Monreallicensed senator from the Green Party (PVEM) Manuel Velasco and the deputy licensed from the Labor Party (PT) Gerardo Fernandez Norona.
