The war between Israel and Hamas appears to have been transferred to Russia. Several dozen men walked onto the runway and into the airport terminal of Mahachakala, the capital of the predominantly Muslim Russian republic of Dagestan, on Sunday evening as it was announced that a plane from Israel was scheduled to land there.
According to Izvestia and RT, they burst onto the roof of the airport and onto the runway. Videos posted on Telegram showed dozens of men, some wearing Palestinian colors, breaking down barriers, trying to control cars leaving the airport or breaking down doors inside the terminal.
