Several parliamentarians from the left and the Peronist front Union for the Fatherland They left the legislative palace towards the immense police cordon established by order of the Argentine Ministry of Security to prevent protesters from blocking the streets in their protest against the bill.

Deputies took to the streets after trying, unsuccessfully, to vote on a motion to go to break (recess) in the plenary due to incidents between security forces and protesters, members of political and social organizations, mainly left-wing.

The order was formalized on the spot by German Martinezpresident of the União por la Patria bloc, who said that several deputies received messages and images from “terrible repression”at the doors of Congress.

The request to go to a break room was put to a vote by raising hands and rejected, after which several opponents left their benches and took to the streets.

Once in front of the police cordon, they demanded that the Ministry of Security order the troops to withdraw.
