This Saturday, Spanish police arrested five people in connection with the death of two civil guards when their boat was hit by a narcolancha in the port of Barbate, in the south of Spain.

Three of those arrested are crew members of the narcolanchaand two other people who picked them up at the port, investigation sources said.
The facts occurred when the agents, together with four other colleagues, were going to identify the occupants of the several drug boats who took refuge from the storm in the port of Bearded.

The deceased were 39 and 43 years old and belonged to the special forces of the Civil Guard who fight against drug trafficking in that area of Spain, the gateway for drugs coming mainly from the African continent, which in recent years has seen significant growth in drug trafficking.
In a message on the social network X, the president of the Spanish Government Pedro Sanchesam sorry “deep“the death of the two agents and conveyed all his gratitude”for the great work” of the Security Forces and Bodies against drug trafficking.
