According to the Fire Department, the work to rescue the bodies has been difficult as the aircraft crashed in a wooded and difficult-to-access area of ​​Associação Aerodeportiva Brasileira, an aerodrome located about six kilometers from the city.

Sources mentioned by local media indicated that the dead are a father and his sonboth adults, and the pilot of the aircraftall residents of the city of Ilhéus, located in the south of Bahia.

Authorities reported that the plane took off normally on Saturday morning, but remained in the air less than 30 minutes before falling.
