Sudan: Gunmen arrest government leaders and people take to the streets to protest

Unidentified gunmen arrested several leaders of Sudana government source told AFP, amid weeks of tensions between the transitional civilian and military authorities.

Internet service was cut off across the country, AFP journalists said, as protesters crowded the streets to protest the arrests.
