El Tiempo investigated the case and established that the murdered foreigner was Yasen Dai, born in China on July 10, 1993. Although he registered a couple of admissions to Colombia, barely six months ago he had processed his immigration card to work for a year.

As he said, he was going to dedicate to sell luxury auto parts and to import other merchandise. To do this, he hired an accountant who was responsible for registering his own company.

On March 18, 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, the foreigner created Colombia Zhejiang Lihai SAS, with a capital of just two million pesos (525 dollars), another figure that does not seem to match the money he handled.

Five months later, a second accountant appears certifying that the company’s capital amounted to 50 million pesos ($ 13,000). And for February of this year It was already worth 200 million ($ 53,000).

According to customs records, it immediately began importing. And in the investigation another firm of Chinese businessmen is mentioned: Lihai Colombia S.A.S. El Tiempo established that Dian included them (and a Colombian woman) in an incident of seizure of merchandise.
