The government is launching a new site to make it easier for entrepreneurs

The government intends to simplify the procedures for entrepreneurs. To this end, the executive launched a new Internet portal on Monday, announced the Minister in charge of SMEs Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne.

Entreprendre.service-public.fr is part of the simplification section of the measures taken by the government to facilitate business creation. The other component, notably taken into account in the bill on the single status of the self-employed, aims to better protect entrepreneurs, explained Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne during a press conference.

From twenty sites to one

“There was a lot of information available but in an abundant and dispersed way” in about twenty sites, explained the minister for whom “there was a lack of a reference site to improve the course of the entrepreneur”.

“I create, I take over, I manage, I develop, I close, I pass on” are the main sections of the site, many of which refer to already existing government sites. Beyond the information it allows to obtain directly online, entrepreneur.service-public.fr also allows you to make an appointment with advisers belonging to “about forty State or para-State services”, explained the minister.

Two other sites

The site will be supplemented by another, formalites.entreprises.gouv.fr, “which has been open for testing since January 1, 2022 and which from January 1, 2023 will centralize all the administrative formalities for registering, modifying or ceasing its activity. “, further indicated the minister.

Portalpro.gouv.fr will also be added, “que porte [le ministre des Comptes publics] Olivier Dussopt and which will aim to ensure that all the declarations of payments, taxes, Urssaf, customs are gathered in the same place”, still according to Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne.
