The 23rd edition of the Latin Grammy take place tonight at the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada (United States). The honoree of this occasion is the Mexican singer-songwriter Marco Antonio Solis and his industry peers have paid tribute to him.
The singers Thalía, Laura Pausini and Luis Fonsi opened the great musical gala with their rendition of “Si no te habias ido”, a song by Marco Antonio Solís released in 1999 as part of the album “Trozos de mi alma”.
The next to appear on the scene was the Argentine-Mexican duo Sin Bandera, who had the task of interpreting “Where are we going to stop”. And finally, Gente de zona, Goyo and Aymee Nuviola also joined the celebration with “More than your friend”.
It should be remembered that Marco Antonio Solís received the 2022 Latin Grammy Person of the Year award during a ceremony held last Wednesday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
