El Cuarto Soda, a tribute band to Soda Stereo, will play for the first time in Lima

El Cuarto Soda, the tribute band to soda Stereo most popular in Latin America, will arrive in Lima for the first time to offer a special show next Friday, July 5 on the Yield Rock stage in downtown Lima. Tickets are on sale through Joinnus.

El Cuarto Soda is a tribute rock band to Soda Stereo that in a few years has become one of the most important and respected bands on the Argentine and Latin American music scene. The band led by vocalist and guitarist Brian Tolenti has managed to faithfully recreate the sound of Gustavo Cerati’s legendary band with passion and dedication.

The band, founded 7 years ago by drummer Gabriel Muscio and bassist Pol Walls, had a casual beginning when Walls saw Tolenti singing on the Buenos Aires subway and decided to make contact with him. That chance meeting gave rise to El Cuarto Soda, which has since toured various cities in Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay and Paraguay.

In 2022, they closed their tour with a spectacular show at the Luna Park stadium in Buenos Aires, one of the most emblematic venues in Argentina, and in November 2023 at the legendary GRAN REX Theater, selling out all their seats.

The band is made up of exceptional musicians who not only interpret Soda Stereo’s songs masterfully, but have also known how to add their own personal stamp to them. Drummer Gabriel Muscio and bassist Pol Walls are a rhythm section that holds the foundation of the songs with precision and strength. Keyboardist Gonzalo Lorenzo adds textures and colors to the melodies, while vocalist and guitarist Brian Tolenti manages to capture the essence of Cerati’s sound with his versatile voice.

In this way, Soda Stereo lovers in Peru will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the most impressive tribute shows in Latin America. The show will be next July 5 at Yield Rock. Tickets are on sale through Joinnus.
