Jeff de Bruges marshmallow bears recalled throughout France

The Jeff de Bruges company has decided to recall “Boxes Choco’Mauves assorted bears”, sold in all of the brand’s French stores. According to a sheet issued Friday by the official website Rappel conso, chocolates marketed between September 7 and October 21 may contain traces of the allergen nuts (hazelnuts and almonds), not declared on the labels.

The recalled marshmallow and dark chocolate bears were offered in 357g cans and 683g pops. The minimum durability date indicated on the products is between February 24, 2023 and October 31, 2023.

Do not consume in case of allergy

It is strongly advised not to consume these delicacies in case of allergy to nuts. There is indeed a risk of reaction. On the other hand, people without allergies can eat them safely.

A telephone number has been set up to answer questions from consumers: 01 64 66 68 99. Customer service is also available on the Jeff de Bruges company website, via the assistance service. It is possible to return the boxes of chocolate and marshmallow bears to the point of sale for a refund.
