The Blaugrana fans are happy with the results of their new striker. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang dazzled with a brace in the match against Valencia that ended with a victory (4-1) for the azulgranas at Mestalla; but, after the issuance of the referee’s report, it was confirmed that it was a hat-trick for ex-Arsenal. Carlos Del Cerro Grande gave the Gabonese striker the fourth goal, taking the goal from Pedri.

Pedri shot with a great shot from outside the area that was conditioned by a touch on the back of the Gabonese striker. Enough for the referee of the match at Mestalla to award the score to the former Arsenal player.

So things then, Aubameyang, who signed his first start in LaLiga Santander, scored again from three at Mestalla, as he had done before when he was an Arsenal player. In fact, after the game and even without knowing the referee’s decision, the striker recalled that occasion and pointed out that the Valencia stadium is very good for him and that it is practically his home.

“The last time I played here I scored a hat-trick in the Europa League, today a brace, so this stadium is a bit like home”, said the Gabonese striker, who is the first Barça player to win a hat-trick this season.

The striker who arrived free from Arsenal also stressed that “We have played very well and we have added three very important points to continue and now there is a very important game like the one on Thursday against Napoli. It gives a lot of confidence to win this game”.

The arrival of Aubameyang is becoming relevant for Barcelona and one of those who confirmed this was Busquets. The Blaugrana midfielder highlighted the work of his new teammate: “He is working very well, he arrived with a lack of minutes but he is having them, he added his second start and hopefully he will help us like this because he is a great player and it is a luxury to have him in the squad after arriving free”.
