Mykhailo Mudryk hopes Shakhtar Donetsk will accept Arsenal’s latest offer after the Gunners make a new bid for the winger.

The 21-year-old is Arsenal’s main target for January, but Premier League leaders have yet to reach an agreement with Shakhtar.

Arsenal have turned down two offers so far as Shakhtar awaits a transfer fee of around £85 million.

Arsenal have now submitted a third offer, which is an improvement on their previous offers, with the Gunners reportedly proposing £62 million plus add-ons, bringing the deal closer to £70 million.

It is clear that Mudryk has already signed a five-year contract with Arsenal, meaning he is waiting for The Gunners to finalize a deal with Shakhtar.

And after reports of Arsenal’s new offer surfaced on Thursday night, Mudryk made it clear what he wants to do next by posting a praying hands emoji to his Instagram followers.

Earlier on Thursday, Mudryk also uploaded a photo to Instagram which shows a video of him wearing the Arsenal shirt during a photo shoot.

Chelsea have also expressed interest in signing Mudryk, but Arsenal rivals are unwilling to make an offer close to Shakhtar’s valuation.

The Ukrainians have used Manchester United’s £85 million deal for Antony last summer as a benchmark for their asking price for Mudryk.

In December, Mudryk spoke to Vlada Sedan – Arsenal’s wife and Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko – about the Gunners’ interest, saying: “I was surprised how many Arsenal fans followed me.

“No other club’s fans have interacted as much as they have. They tell me they are waiting for me and say, ‘Come to us’. One of my recent posts has over 500 comments saying that.
