Gianluca Lapadula scored one of the goals with which Peru defeated Nicaragua 2-0 in the FIFA friendly match played on Friday at the Matute stadium.
Once the match was over, the Italian Cagliari striker declared for Movistar Deportes and expressed his satisfaction with the result achieved and the way in which the Bicolor played.
“I’m very good, happy with the game, how we played and the result. Also for the goal, the most important thing is the group and I am sure that we will get out of this situation”, ‘Lapagol’ said.
The attacker also had words of praise for the coach Jorge Fossatiwhom he baptized ‘Nonno’ (grandfather in Italian).
“The teacher has many good ideas, he is very expert, you have to follow him and as always be together and united. (He is) ‘Nonno’, he is very much like a grandfather, how he talks to us, how he takes care of us and knows a lot,” declared.
Peru will play on Tuesday, March 26 against the Dominican Republic at the Monumental de Ate stadium.
