Kimi Raikkonen decided to retire from Formula 1 after more than 20 years of experience after his participation in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. However, he left strong and controversial statements against the main international motor racing competition.

During an interview with the specialized media ‘Motorsport’, the Finn was uncomfortable with various factors. “A lot of things are very false here. It’s good to be out. There is much more (evil) here than what people see from the outside.”he explained.

“There are a lot of things that don’t make sense, at least in my head, about what’s going on here. All kinds of nonsense going around out there. We all know it, but nobody says it. Things I don’t even think should happen.” added the popular ‘The Iceman’.

When asked about the reasons, Kimi Raikkonen replied: “Money, money has changed things, like in any sport. The more money you put in, the more politics there is. In general, in any country, there are things that people never know until you are inside everything”.

“Formula 1 has lost its way and it has been that way for many years. But maybe people will notice now. I know a lot of things that happen, but I don’t get involved. I don’t think it’s very healthy for you if you do.”, he added.

It is important to mention that Raikkonen was world champion with Ferrari in 2007. Previously, he had obtained second place in 2003 and 2005.
