The peruvian national team will receive Ecuador this Tuesday on the date 16 of the Qatar 2022 Qualifying. Given this, the competent authorities have enabled 50% of the total capacity of the National Stadium for this transcendental match towards the World Cup. However, in other countries we have been able to observe 100% of the capacity of the stadiums, as happened in Barranquilla, for which the ‘Blanquirroja’ players have shared a message on social networks requesting full capacity for the duel against the ‘Tri’.

André Carrillo, Aldo Corzo, Miguel Trauco, among others, have shared the same message on their Instagram accounts, requesting that 100% capacity be allowed in the National Stadium for the match against Ecuador for the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.

As is known, through a supreme decree, the Government approved 50% capacity for this game, which will be essential for Ricardo Gareca’s team. Likewise, all attendees must have a mask and the three doses applied.

A few days ago, the Minister of Health, Hernán Cevallos, provided details about this measure during an interview with Canal N: “We believe that it is a considerable capacity, which allows keeping the meter of distance between one person and another who enters the stadium. The selection is going to have a good number of fans in the stadium. Citizens were looking for this to be a reality.”

At the moment, there is no official communication from the FPF through its social networks, but it is expected that this issue will remain on the agenda between now and match day. In Barranquilla and in other venues of the Qualifiers, we have seen 100% capacity, so the ‘Blanquirroja’ players seek to have the same capacity this Tuesday.
