The moment of the explosion of a Russian missile that killed civilians in kyiv | VIDEO

20 days after the invasion of Russia to Ukraine images of horror and devastation multiply. Yesterday, a security camera recorded the moment of the explosion of a Russian missile that killed civilians walking on the streets of kyiv.

In the close-up of the 21-second video, you can see how a person walks through a park in the residential neighborhood of Kurenivka of the Ukrainian capital. Meanwhile, across the street, other civilians circulate on the sidewalk and are hit by the missile launched by the Russian armed forces.

In another recording that has circulated in recent hours, taken by Volodimir Volodimirovich Klichko, a well-known Ukrainian ex-professional boxer, the same green collective appears that circulated in the first video and had been hit by a missile, but now it is seen completely destroyed.

This is what the war of the Russians against civilians looks like: buildings destroyed, infrastructure destroyed, a city bus has just been hit by a rocket. Lives are being lost. This is the war that Russia started”, says Volodimirovich Klichko, as he walks through the rubble.

“The city of Kyiv and many Ukrainian cities were destroyed. Lives were taken. This is the truth. These images are the truth of the Russian war against Ukraine. That is what it seems”, continues the former athlete, surrounded by Ukrainian soldiers.

In another of the films, it is shown how this area of the city of the Ukrainian capital was left after the fall of the Russian missile, the destroyed buildings are observed, without windows. The streets are full of rubble and the remains of the vehicles – a bus and a car – that were hit by the bombardment. There are also small sources of fire, product of the explosion of the projectile.

The force of the explosion, during the morning of last Monday, shattered the glass of the windows, and claimed the lives of several Ukrainian civilians. “The explosion was so huge,” said Ragulina, in dialogue with the agency AP. “People were sleeping, shards of glass were flying and I was literally thrown into a wall. It’s a miracle no one was killed.”Held.

Russian forceswhose goal is to surround Kyiv, intensified their shelling of the Ukrainian capitalwhich had so far avoided destruction, unlike the cities of Mariupol or Kharkiv in the northeast.

Right now, Kyiv is preparing for a siege, after the four explosions it suffered yesterday morning, in residential neighborhood buildings and in a subway station. These detonations caused the death of two people.

These new attacks could prompt more people to make the decision to flee Ukraine. It is estimated that about half of the 3.5 million inhabitants of the Ukrainian capital have already left. Others, on the other hand, do not have the opportunity to do so.

I can’t leave the country because my eldest son is 20 years old, and he is in the army. It is the reason why I am staying, with my husband, and with my other two children aged ten and three,” explained Olena Yavdoshchuk, 40, a clinic administrator.

In this context, kyiv became a ghost town. His streets are empty, there are military checkpoints everywhere and he lives in fear of an imminent assault by Russian forces.
