Gates defended himself against the accusations with a forceful response. “In 2015 I spoke about my fears that a pandemic would emerge and cause tens of millions of deaths”he maintained and continued: “My foundation funds vaccine research to save lives. I spend billions on vaccines and I am proud that they have helped cut less than 5 deaths in half in the last 20 years (from 10% to 5%)”.
