Russiahaving suffered several military setbacks on the ground, began attacking Ukrainian energy facilities in October, causing extensive damage and depriving millions of Ukrainians of electricity every day, in the dead of winter.

On November 24, the latest bombardments against these targets left entire regions of the country in the dark and cold, including the capital kyiv.

“Electrical engineers do everything possible and impossible to stabilize the situation in relation to energy supply”, DTEK stated. The technical teams work “day and night” to quickly repair infrastructure, he added.

The private operator also specified that it is working so that “there is electricity in every house in kyiv at least once or twice” up to date.
