The area has already suffered over the weekend

The drone sent on Tuesday morning “was neutralized (by means of) electronic warfare and, having lost control, crashed on the territory” of the Moscow City business district, the Defense Ministry added.

He “hit the same tower of the City (Moscow) as last time,” said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, on Telegram. On the night of Saturday to Sunday, several windows of two buildings in Moscow City, the city’s most important business district, were shattered in a Ukrainian drone attack, Sergei Sobyanin said.

Arrest of opponent of Kara-Murza: London imposed sanctions against six Russians

A Russian court on Monday dismissed an appeal by Vladimir Kara-Murza’s opponent, upholding his 25-year prison sentence for “high treason,” an especially harsh sentence in the midst of a crackdown on voices critical of the offensive in Ukraine. The UK announced sanctions Monday night against six Russians “who played a leading role in the regrettable conviction” of dual-citizen Vladimir Kara-Murza.

London said it sanctioned three judges, two prosecutors and an expert witness for the prosecution for their role in the “politically motivated” decision, given that Vladimir Kara-Murza is “persecuted by the Russian regime because of his anti-war stance.”

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley called for his immediate release. “The dismissal of Vladimir Kara-Murza’s appeal following his conviction on trumped-up charges highlights the perversity of the Russian regime,” he added.
