This Friday, April 26th, Rue Saint-Guillaume (Paris, 7th arrondissement) resounded with cries of “Viva Palestine” and the green, red, black and white flag was raised. All day, about fifty students from Sciences-po Paris occupied several floors of the historic site of the elite school. Pallets and several barriers were stacked in front of the front doors 48 hours after the overnight occupation, which had already led to CRS intervention on Wednesday evening.
Around 9:00 pm, a small crowd of students and their supporters who had gathered outside were still facing the CRS while an agreement was finally reached between the student delegation and Jean Basser, the school’s interim administrator following the resignation of Matthias Vischer.
