The European stock markets opened slightly higher that Wednesday, with the exception of London, in a session in which they are waiting to know the inflation data in the eurozone at 11:00 a.m., and in which statements are expected of the president of the US Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell.

At the opening, only London lost 0.10%, while Milan rose 0.28%, Frankfurt, 0.25%, Paris, 0.18% and Madrid, 0.14%.

For its part, the Euro Stoxx50, an index in which the largest capitalization European companies are listed, also rose 0.30%.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange closed this Wednesday with a drop of 0.97% in its main indicator, the Nikkei, weighed down by the falls the day before on Wall Street, which weakened technology firms.

Wall Street closed yesterday Tuesday in red and its main indicator, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, fell 1% in another negative day related to expectations about the Federal Reserve’s interest rate policy.

Among the data for this Wednesday, the publication in the US of the final composite PMI and services data for the month of March stands out. In addition, the ISM for services for that same month is expected, along with its components. of prices paid, new orders and employment.

In addition, the ADP private employment survey will be known.

In the debt market, the interest rate on the ten-year German bond, considered the safest, fell to 2.392%, while the Spanish bond also fell to 3.252%.

Gold rises 0.68% and the price per ounce is trading at $2,297, while oil remains practically stable.

In the case of Brent crude oil, the reference in Europe, it advances 0.19% to reach the price of a barrel at 89.08 dollars, while the West Texas Intermediate (WTIÇ), the reference in the US, increases the 0.12% to $85.27 a barrel, before the official market opening.

Bitcoin falls 0.90% to $66,281.

For its part, the euro is stable, with a slight drop of 0.03% and is trading at $1.076.
