Netflix’s “Merlina” surprises with nominations for the 2023 Golden Globes just 20 days after its premiere

California-born actress Jenna Ortega, 20, was nominated for the 2023 Golden Globes in the ‘Comedy Actress’ category for her performance in the Netflix series “merlin” (“Wednesday”) which premiered on November 23.

The classic character of the Addams family has fallen in love with the public in just one month after the premiere of the series and also with critics. The series has also been nominated in the category of Best Musical or Comedy Series. Two nominations, but both are significant.

Jenna Ortega does not have it easy, as she will compete in this category with Fifth Brunson from ‘Abbott Elementary’, Selena Gomez from ‘Only Murders in the Building’, Jean Smart of ‘Hacks’ and Kaley Cuoco ‘The Flight Attendant’.

This Monday the list of nominees for the ceremony to be held on January 10 was revealed, where the 80th anniversary of this important event will also be celebrated. George and Mayan Lopez, stars of Lopez vs. Lopez, announced the list of nominees from the Beverly Hilton hotel.
